Voor personen die zelfstudie doen is dit bijna onmogelijk te zeggen. Omdat alle kandidaten verschillende ervaring hebben en een verschillende hoeveelheid tijd beschikbaar hebben voor studie, verschilt dit van persoon tot persoon. Voor degenen die studeren bij een geaccrediteerde trainingsorganisatie wordt elke foundation cursus over het algemeen gedurende 3 dagen gegeven. Het is zeker de moeite waard om dit te onderzoeken bij de trainingsaanbieders, omdat velen op maat gemaakte en gemengde leeroplossingen aanbieden, en er kunnen ook voorbereidende cursussen en/of huiswerk zijn.

The TSIM Foundation course is priced at $495 which includes online an online learning platform, an interactive course, digital copy of the TSIM guidebook and access to a live customer support team.
