Foundation-cursussen worden over het algemeen in 3 dagen gegeven. Gecombineerde foundation- en practitioner-cursussen worden doorgaans in 5 dagen gegeven. We raden echter aan om dit na te vragen bij individuele aanbieders, aangezien velen op maat gemaakte leeroplossingen kunnen aanbieden.
FitSM® Certification
There is a one day Foundation course which provides basic IT service management knowledge and introduces the FitSM model.
After passing the Foundation exam, candidates can then take one of the two Advanced level courses: Service Planning and Delivery (SPD) or Service Operation and Control (SOC). Both courses are delivered over 2 days.
Candidates who pass both of the Advanced level examinations can complete the 2 day Expert course, which covers practical aspects of implementing and improving IT service management in a leadership role.

Vom FitSM Standard wurden FitSM-0 & FitSM-1 auf Version 3 aktualisiert. Andere Teile werden derzeit aktualisiert, Materialien und Prüfungen werden ebenfalls entsprechend angepasst.
Derzeit sind die FitSM Foundation Prüfung und Materialien als v3 verfügbar.
