Lean Green Belt Certification
The Lean Green Belt theory exam does not expire.
After completing the Lean Green Belt theory exam and Practical Assessment, individuals will be recognised as a ‘Certified Lean Green Belt’. There are no re-certification requirements as the Lean Green Belt certified status does not expire.

Examen teórico:
- 40 preguntas de opción múltiple.
- Se requieren 25 puntos (63%) o más para aprobar.
- Duración de 120 minutos.
- Libro abierto (se permite un máximo de cualquier dos libros durante el examen + folleto de tablas estadísticas (PDF de 14 páginas). NO se permiten cuadernos de ejercicios durante el examen).
- Se permiten calculadoras y minitab.
Evaluación práctica:
- Debe presentarse un proyecto exitoso a nivel CIMM-III (o superior).
- El proyecto tiene un impacto financiero de al menos € 20,000 sobre una base anual o se ha mejorado sustancialmente otro CTQ (como el Tiempo de Entrega).
- El proyecto debe seguir la hoja de ruta PDCA, DMAIC o DMADV.
- Los proyectos deben ser autorizados por el Champion. Con ello declaran que el proyecto se ha llevado a cabo profesionalmente y que los objetivos se han alcanzado y son sostenibles.
- El idioma del proyecto presentado debe ser en inglés o holandés.
- Las evaluaciones prácticas deben presentarse no más tarde de tres años después de aprobar el examen teórico de Lean Green Belt.
El proyecto será evaluado por Master Black Belts asignados por la LSSA.
El resultado de la evaluación práctica será Aprobado o Reprobado. No se otorgará puntuación.
En caso de un resultado de 'Reprobado', se proporcionará una breve orientación sobre aquellos criterios que se consideren 'Faltantes' o 'Incorrectos'. Posteriormente, se permite una sola nueva presentación de recuperación.
The principles of lean are used to optimize processes and performance with the focus on speed, efficiency and the removal of waste. The Lean Green Belt certification has been developed in partnership with the Lean Six Sigma Academy (LSSA) and is based on the ‘Continuous Improvement Maturity Model’ (CIMM), a framework that guides an evolutionary staged approach for process improvement from an early stage.
The purpose of the Green Belt qualification is to confirm that a candidate has sufficient knowledge, understanding and application of the Lean process improvement methodology, practice and analytical tools to be able to work effectively as the team leader of Lean process improvement projects or as a member of a Black Belt process improvement project, within an environment supporting Lean.
Candidates can gain certification against either or both the Theory and Practical levels. The Theory level involves undertaking a multiple-choice format exam and is a pre-requisite for the Practical level. The Practical level involves submitting one practical Lean project for assessment.

The pass mark for the Lean Green Belt theory exam is 25 out of 40 (63%).

The main publication Climbing the Mountain - Mindset, skill set and toolset for Lean Six Sigma Green is available in English only.
Candidates are permitted a maximum of 2 books in the exam. Candidates are also permitted to use calculators. No other materials can be taken into the exam.

Après avoir terminé l'examen théorique Lean Green Belt et l'Évaluation Pratique, les individus seront reconnus comme un 'Lean Green Belt Certifié'. Il n'y a pas d'exigences de re-certification car le statut certifié Lean Green Belt n'expire pas.
