A fast-track to FitSM Expert certification for existing service management qualification holders.

About this level

  • Individuals who are already “ITSM professionals” and wish to go through the FitSM qualification quicker and achieve FitSM certification with less effort. 
  • Individuals who already hold other ITSM certifications, wishing to build on their experience.
     

The pre-requisite requirements for this certification are:

  • ITIL Expert 
  • ISO/IEC 20000 Consultant Manager 
  • ISO/IEC 20000 Associate 
  • ISO/IEC 20000 (Lead Auditor) 

  • The general aspects of implementing ITSM, the processes required to operate and control services effectively (according to the FitSM-1 standard), and important interfaces in a service management system.
  • The six processes related to service operation and control
  • The eight processes related to the planning and delivery of services
  • Repeat the most important advanced level knowledge on (lightweight) ITSM
  • ITSM-related frameworks and standards
  • Understanding the organizational context of implementing ITSM (including federation structures and scope setting)
  • Leadership and governance (including top management responsibilities, governance practices, effective communication and organizational change management)
  • Planning and implementing ITSM (including service management planning, service design and transition and effective documentation)
  • Monitoring, reviewing and improving ITSM (including capability and maturity assessment, key performance indicators, managing an audit program and conducting audits)

Candidates who take the Expert Bridge course will achieve the Expert and Auditor certification by passing both the  Advanced Bridge exam and the Expert level exam, which are as follows: 

The Advanced Bridge Exam 

  • 30 multiple-choice questions
  • 60 minutes to complete the exam
  • 21 marks are required to pass (21/60) — 70%
  • This is a closed-book exam 

The Standard Expert Level Exam 

  • 40 multiple-choice questions
  • 75 minutes to complete the exam
  • 30 marks are required to pass (30/40) — 75%
  • This is a closed-book exam
