• Design Thinking consists of three primary topics that form the DTMethod®: the DTModel, DTTools, and DTRules and Roles.
• The DTModel guides teams through three primary phases of the design process: understanding the challenge; exploring solutions; and creating prototypes.
• DTTools include over a dozen methods that have been tailored to the DTModel to help establish user expectations and product requirements.
• To understand how certain roles interact with one another throughout the design process, DTRules and Roles describes a structured ecosystem in which teams collaborate as part of a larger, iterative process.

• To prepare for the DTMethod® certification exam, candidates must join an online (virtual) classroom or attend in-person training.
• The typical duration of each course is as follows:
  • 3 days for the DTMethod® Foundation
  • 2 days for the DTMethod® Professional
  • 2 days for the DTMethod® Facilitator
