Change Ninja Certification Overview

Change Ninja is a neuroscience-based, people-focused change management approach designed to complement and support any existing methodology, framework, or process. Developed in collaboration with Professor Eddie Obeng, it offers practical, human-centred tools to help individuals and teams navigate change more effectively.

Training is delivered through a flexible online format—either via a virtual classroom or self-study using the Change Ninja Handbook. The programme consists of four two-hour modules, typically completed over four weeks.

Pricing options are available through The Change Ninja Limited, or for an exam-only option, via our Public Exam Portal.

For individuals who are self-studying, it is almost impossible to say. As all candidates have different experience and time available for study, it varies from person to person. We suggest you buy the manual and have a look through for yourself before deciding how long you need to spend learning.

For those attending a training course, the Foundation course is generally delivered over 4 days.

The structure of the Change Ninja Foundation exam is:

  • 30 multiple choice questions
  • Pass mark is 20 (or more) out of 30
  • Exam duration: 30 minutes
  • Closed book (no reference materials permitted).

No reference materials are permitted during the Change Ninja Foundation exam.

You will need to score 20 marks or more (out of 30) to pass the Change Ninja Foundation exam.

Yes, all candidates can access a sample exam paper to practice on via the Candidate Portal. Access to the Candidate Portal is given once you have purchased a self-study exam or your training provider has registered your exam date and time with APMG.

The Change Ninja Foundation exam is valid indefinitely and does not expire.

The Change Ninja Foundation examination can be marked at the end of your exam session with provisional results provided.

APMG will issue formal notification of your exam result once your exam paper has been received back into our office. All results will be made available in your Candidate Portal.
