El examen COBIT 5 Foundation está disponible actualmente en inglés, francés, alemán, español latinoamericano, portugués brasileño, chino y polaco. Los exámenes COBIT 5 Implementation, Assessor y Assessor for Security están disponibles únicamente en inglés.

Os candidatos devem obter uma pontuação de 25/50 (50%) para passar no COBIT 5 Foundation.

Os candidatos precisarão obter 40 pontos de 80 (50%) para passar nos exames COBIT 5 Implementation, Assessor e Assessor for Security.

The principles, practices, analytical tools and models found in COBIT 5 embody thought leadership and guidance from business, IT and governance experts around the world.

COBIT 5 provides guidance to executives and those charged with making decisions concerning the use of technology in support of organizational objectives. COBIT 5 helps business leaders address the needs of all stakeholders across the enterprise and ultimately maximize the value from information and technology.

Candidates must achieve a score of 25/50 (50%) to pass the COBIT 5 Foundation.

Candidates will need to score 40 marks out of 80 (50%) to pass the COBIT 5 Implementation, Assessor and Assessor for Security examinations.

Schulungskurse werden in der Regel über 3 Tage durchgeführt. Es lohnt sich, bei einzelnen Anbietern nachzufragen, da viele maßgeschneiderte und kombinierte Lernlösungen anbieten. Wenn Sie sich selbstständig auf die Prüfung vorbereiten, hängt die benötigte Zeit zum Erlernen des Materials vom Einzelnen ab.

ISACA beoordeelt en keurt geen specifieke cursussen goed voor CPE-punten, behalve die welke zij zelf aanbieden. Elke certificering accepteert echter een breed scala aan onderwerpen die door ISACA voor punten worden geaccepteerd. Deze onderwerpen vallen onder de kennisverklaringen van elke certificering en omvatten technische en managementtraining die direct van toepassing is op de:

CISA: beoordeling van informatiesystemen of de verbetering van audit-, controle-, beveiligings- of managementvaardigheden (CISA-werkpraktijk). CPE-uren gerelateerd aan managementvaardigheden moeten relevant zijn voor het beheer van audits en/of auditresources.
CISM: beheer, ontwerp of beoordeling van de informatiebeveiliging van een organisatie of de verbetering van die vaardigheden (CISM-werkpraktijk).
CGEIT: beheer en governance van enterprise IT-governance (CGEIT-werkpraktijk).
CRISC: risicoidentificatie, -beoordeling, -evaluatie, -respons en -monitoring en het ontwerp, de implementatie, monitoring en het onderhoud van IS-controles (CRISC-werkpraktijk).
