El Certificado CRIO fue desarrollado en colaboración con el Grupo del Banco Mundial, el Banco Asiático de Desarrollo, el Banco Europeo para la Reconstrucción y el Desarrollo, el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo, el Banco Islámico de Desarrollo, el Mecanismo de Asesoramiento para Infraestructura Público-Privada (PPIAF) y APMG International, responsable del desarrollo del Programa de Certificación CP3P, así como otros Bancos Multilaterales de Desarrollo y organizaciones socias.
La certification Climate-Resilient Infrastructure Officer n'expire pas et il n'y a aucune exigence de renouvellement ou de maintenance.

The Climate-Resilient Infrastructure Officer Certification refers to climate-resilient infrastructure in two ways: (1) resilient infrastructure (or resilience of infrastructure), which is infrastructure that anticipates, prepares for and adapts to climate change; and (2) infrastructure for resilience (or resilience through infrastructure), which is infrastructure that increases the resilience of a community by reducing impacts of climate hazards or increasing adaptative capacity.
