The International Project Management Association (IPMA) is a federation of around 70-member associations across the globe which provides qualification standards for individuals working in project, programme and portfolio management.

Their mission is to advance the discipline by helping all member associations across the world develop and improve according to their needs.

IPMA Training and Certification

IPMA certifications are internationally recognized and designed for project professionals at all levels in their careers. APMG works in partnership with IPMA USA to offer IPMA certifications.
IPMA certifications are separated into 4 different levels that range from A to D. Level A is the most advanced level followed by B, C, and then D.
Levels A and B support Project, Programme, and Portfolio Management certification. Levels C and D focus only on Project Management certification.

For these certifications, participants can either study on their own or choose one of our accredited training providers to guide them through the process.
Each certification requires all candidates submit an application with supporting evidence before taking a formal assessment. Each level of certification has different requirements regarding these two stages.
The typical duration of a preparatory course is generally 2 to 3 days.
