Successful change management and Agile practices depend on a strong network of individuals who drive and support change. These individuals must understand the necessity of change and possess the skills to guide others when implementing new solutions.

As many project or change professionals are aware, implementing change is rarely easy. Often professionals can be hesitant to adopt or implement new practices. Obstacles such as this arise regularly creating risks that can slow project progress.  Certified Agile Change Coaches mitigate the risks and increase success rates of change initiatives and projects. 

We continuously search for new and better ways to deliver best-practices to our growing agile community. As part of our Agile Change Coach Certification, we released a survey to discover how this learning has shaped agile management experiences.

APMG sent an email survey to all previous candidates that had taken and passed the Agile Change Coach exam between January 2023 and April 2025.

In total, there were 201 candidates contacted. We will continue to collect more data. These are our initial findings on the Agile Change Coach training and certification.
