Managing resistance to change by mitigating risks and actively learning new skills helps individuals approach change with a positive outlook. Organizations can flourish with the momentum that curiosity, continuous learning, and creativity bring to a work environment.
Professionals who play an instrumental role in establishing that kind of culture are Change Management Practitioners. For their insights, we sought feedback from practitioners to see how the Change Management Practitioner course and certification have shaped their change management skills in recent years.
Methodology and Respondents
APMG sent an email survey to all previous candidates who had taken and passed the Change Management Practitioner exam between May 2024 and April 2025.
To incentivize participation, candidates were entered into a drawing to be randomly selected for a gift card upon completion of our survey.
This survey remained open for 1 month starting June 2025 and provided eight prompts for participants to answer. In total, there were 479 respondents from the 3,888 candidates we contacted for the survey.
