Where We Began

In 1993, we were awarded a contract by the CCTA, part of the UK Government, to develop a training and certification scheme for their new project management standard, which aimed to improve project delivery and achieve more successful outcomes across government. Following this successful partnership, APMG quickly welcomed many new opportunities to support both public and private sector training and development initiatives.

Professionals from those early partnerships went on to create some of the world's most popular training frameworks, programmes we now offer as best practices. Current partnerships include the DVMS Institute, ISACA and the World Bank Group.

As a global accreditation body and examination institute we are committed to ensuring excellent standards of service delivered by those we accredit.

APMG is proud to be accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS), the UK’s sole National Accreditation Body, which in turn is approved by the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) to assess the competence of organizations providing certification services.

UKAS is renowned for its rigorous accreditation standards - influencing our own approach to accrediting organizations.

APMG is accredited by UKAS for the following certification schemes:

Agile Project Management (AgilePM®) Practitioner certification
Agile Business Analyst (AgileBA®) Practitioner certification
Change Management Practitioner certification.

UKAS audits us annually to ensure our processes remain fully in accordance with these standards.
